Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby 

Along with my project partner Christian Löffel we created a music video for the song "Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby" by Cigarettes After Sex. We filmed the video in Basel, Switzerland at FHNW University of Northern Switzerland. It was all filmed through an old 80's RCA #CCTV camera. This was done to mirror the effect and style of the music creating a dreary and intimate feel.

Music Video StoryBoard

We recorded about 30 hrs of old RCA footage for this project. Rerecording and changing the story about three different times. We wanted to try to put ourselves in the artist's mindset and create a look and feel true to the music and the concept. We broke the lyrics down into 10 second increments. 

Setup

In our setup we went through a variety of methods to push what we could capture with the old camera. We used many different analog methods to glitch and scratch the footage to age it even more. We had participants come in and perform hand movements to the music.
